How Affiliate Marketing Works:
Before you want to start affiliate marketing, you have to know what Affiliate Marketing is and how it works.
Seems pretty straightforward, huh?
You find a product you want to promote, and then you promote that product, and you earn a commission.
Alright, but how do you generate traffic for affiliate marketing?
Good question. Let’s take a look at some traffic sources for affiliate marketing. There are two types of traffic you can use to promote affiliate products. Paid and Free Traffic, so let’s take a look at both.
How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Using Free Traffic:
1. Starting a blog
Yes, I know some you might think to start a blog is dead, but you’re wrong. Let’s say, for example, you create a blog in the Health/Fitness Niche. On that blog, you can review health/fitness products from other people. And at the end of the review, you can give your readers a discount for that product (on most affiliate products you get a link with a special discount on it). And if the reader clicks on that product and buys with that link, you earn a commission. You don’t have to choose the Health/Fitness Niche.
You can create a blog about any niche you like, for example, “Make Money Online” Niche or “Sports” Niche.

Youtube is a vast platform that many people don’t recognize as a money-making method. On Youtube, you can also review products, and in the description, you can put your Affiliate link in
Just think for one second. I imagine some you have searched on youtube something like “Best… ” or “Best Video Editing Software” or “Best ways to make money quick”.
And then after watching the video, you would then go to the description and click on the product you liked the most and that LINK is an affiliate link and if you were to buy that product the youtube who did that video would earn a commission.
Affiliate Marketing Paid Traffic:
1. Facebook Ads
About 1.68 Billion people use Facebook daily, and it’s a great platform to advertise your affiliate products.
The good thing about Facebook is that you can target specific people who are interested in something.
Let’s take an example:
Let’s say you have an affiliate product about basketball. You would then target people who are interested in Basketball, right? And that’s exactly what you can do with Facebook ads:
You see, you have an audience size of over 100 Million people who like basketball. You would then, of course, need to create your ad copy and optimize your ads.
If you didn’t know, Facebook bought Instagram in 2012 for 1 billion USD. What this means for you is that you can easily show your Ads you created on Facebook on Instagram too.

Basically, people run google search campaign for the term “Vert Shock”. Than these ADS pop-up
Let’s go into one of these ADS, and we see the following:
This is called an Opt-In page, where you can review the product or summarize what it is about and again you put in there your affiliate link, and then they get redirected to the actual sales page of the product (or directly to the checkout of the product). The great thing about google ads is that your conversion rate is gonna be high, because people are already interested in purchasing (they have that buyer-intend).
All you need for this method is 1 page for your product, or you can use Clickfunells.
